What is the UNA-USA?

The United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) is a movement of Americans who believe that our interests and values can best be advanced by standing with the planet’s only truly universal institution: The United Nations.

Members are committed to making a change to achieve the goals of the United Nations. Members will educate, promote, and inspire others to support the UN and its agencies around the world.

The UNA-USA Baker University chapter was established in 2024. It offers students and the community the opportunity to access information, engage in advocacy, build networks, develop skills, explore career paths, and make a meaningful impact on global issues. Every year the chapter will send delegates to UN leadership events in New York City.

The UNA-USA chapter at Baker opens doors to internship and job opportunities in international affairs, diplomacy, and nonprofit organizations. Members can gain valuable experience, expand their professional networks, and pursue careers aligned with their passion.

Carter Bradshaw
President

I am majoring in business marketing and minoring in data analytics. With great honor and excitement, I introduce myself as Baker University’s UNA-USA campus chapter president. In light of the challenges we face today, such as environmental degradation and widening inequality, having the opportunity to use UN resources and take action is a gift. I am so grateful to have the chance to be a part of Baker University’s campus chapter.

Alejandra Reyes
