When new students arrive on campus, they may know that Baker is the state's first university, and they may see that Baldwin City has lots of old brick streets, but their knowledge of local history often does not extend much beyond that. With BU and the Baldwin City Library each celebrating heritage and history as part of the opening convocation for the fall 2016 semester, now seems like the perfect time for a couple of interactive history lessons about the university and the town that has grown up around it.
