Welcome

Letter from the President

Dear Potential New Members,

I am Nathan Neufeld, active president of the Baker University Interfraternity Council (known on campus as IFC). IFC supports the four fraternity chapters at Baker University: Sigma Phi Epsilon, Kappa Sigma, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Sigma, and Zeta Chi. IFC provides opportunities for the chapters to come together and create opportunities for each house to contribute to Baker University, and also to each other. Fostering this support allows us to foster a stronger community on campus for fraternity men.

I was the first in my family to join, so I was unaware of how Fraternity Sorority Life would affect me. One of these effects was through the bonds that I have developed not only in my own house, but also with members from other chapters. These bonds have created a network of support and connections that have helped me through my three years at Baker University that I am eternally grateful for. I have learned many valuable lessons that can be applied both within the classroom and in the world beyond school.

Each fraternity house provides a unique community, which allows anyone to find a fit, and every member will go out of their way to help you. The fraternities of Baker University hope to see you in August!
