During this full-day clinic dedicated to developing and improving percussion technique, high school students will work with three of the area’s top drumline instructors. Percussionists in grades 9-12 of all skill levels are welcome.
The fee is $30 per student. Lunch is included.

Our Clinicians

Matt Arnett serves as percussion director at Blue Valley West High School. He is a former marching member (1997-2000) of the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, a world class competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Arnett is also the founder of the Kansas City Chiefs Rumble drumline.

Isaiah Sterling serves as percussion director at Blue Valley Southwest High School and St. James Academy. He is a former marching member (2021-2022) of the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, a world class competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in Rosemont, Illinois.

Tom Corbridge serves as an adjunct teaching artist at Baker University and is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Kansas, where he serves as a teaching assistant. He also serves as a percussion specialist at Blue Valley West High School. He earned his B.A. from the University of Iowa and M.M. from the University of New Mexico.
