Launch for MBA health care administration

Baker University announces the launch of an MBA in Health Care Administration. MBA health care administration core courses are offered online or on the Overland Park campus, and courses specific to health care administration are offered online. Students can earn the degree in approximately two years and may also pursue a concentration in finance or human resources.

The MBA-HCA program prepares students for leadership or management roles in one of the nation’s fastest growing and most challenging industries: health care. This degree develops leaders who employ technical, analytical, and decision-making skills to solve complex organizational challenges in hospitals and other health care organizations. The MBA health care administration course work develops the skills needed to identify and analyze today’s business opportunities.

“Professionals who seek advanced training and development in health care administration will benefit from working with faculty who are among industry leaders in Kansas and Missouri,” said Dr. Emily Ford, interim dean of Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies.

Ford added, “An established curricula consisting of the core pillars of our respected MBA program and concepts that are central to sustaining the health care community will not only provide professionals with the ability to become industry leaders, but will also cultivate an understanding of how to sustain and improve their environment as community needs evolve.”
