In Baker University’s innovative MBA + MSN dual degree program, the convergence of business acumen and health care expertise propels professionals into a realm of unparalleled career opportunities.

Our dual degree program prepares graduates to navigate the complex landscape of health care administration with a nuanced understanding of strategic management.

An MBA in addition to your MSN increases your options and your salary. When you pursue this double degree, you not only position yourself as a leader in health care management but also gain a profound comprehension of the dynamic business environment shaping the future of health care delivery.

If you have thought about getting involved in the business side of health care or want to move into an executive position, you need to understand business fundamentals, and an MBA offers this knowledge. Combine that with your patient-care experience and you bring a unique perspective to the business arena that other MBAs lack.

MSN + MBA: How It Works

Our MSN + MBA joint degree program allows you to earn both your MSN and your MBA in transformational studies degree in less time.

You will first earn your 32-credit-hour MSN degree. You will then be able to transfer 12 credit hours from that program toward your MBA in transformational studies degree. You can finish both degrees with as few as 50 credit hours.

The MBA Transformational Studies track is a great complement to the MSN degree. It takes you far beyond business as usual so you can develop your own perspective for helping health care organizations redefine strategies, apply innovative concepts and technology, and tackle emerging issues.

You can earn this double degree almost entirely online. MSN courses are offered in 15-week semesters in the spring and fall and eight-week semesters in the summer. You can take your practicum where you live and work. MBA courses are offered in seven-week terms.

Baker’s online program means you can earn your MBA while working your current job.

Are you an alum? You are also eligible for a 10 percent alumni tuition discount.
