Scholarships for Adult Learners

Baker University has partnered with KC Scholars to offer scholarships to adult learners in the Kansas City area. The adult learner scholarship provides up to $12,500 a year, depending on number of terms enrolled during the academic year, enrollment status per term, and institution of enrollment, and is renewable for up to six years for a maximum of $50,000.

The program is designed for low- or modest-income students who are 18 or older at the time of college enrollment and reside in one of the following six counties: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte (Missouri), or Johnson and Wyandotte (Kansas). See the full list of requirements.

To remain eligible once enrolled in college, students must meet minimum annual requirements and complete a short renewal application each year to determine continued eligibility. They must also maintain continuous enrollment, either full time or part-time.
