Korey grew up in Dallas, Texas, and found his way to Baker University through his love for basketball. At Baker he majored in business administration and worked as a Baker Peer Mentor and University Admissions Ambassador. He is pursuing his Master of Business Administration. In his free time, he enjoys going for walks and spending quality time with friends and family.

Anna, a native of Topeka, Kansas, earned a degree in history from Baker in 2002. She also completed a master’s and Ph.D. in Latin and Roman History from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She is a humanities proselytizer and global citizen with over 15 years of experience in higher education. Her top-five favorite world cities are Cape Town, Beirut, New Orleans, Tel Aviv, and Seoul.

A native of Perry, Kansas, Doug graduated from Baker with Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and business. He also has a master’s degree in developmental kinesiology from Bowling Green State University. His professional experiences before returning to Baker include over 20 years as a collegiate women’s volleyball coach and instructor at various institutions. His favorite nonwork activities include golf, bicycling, and coaching club volleyball.

Brooke was born and raised in Olathe, Kansas. She studied secondary education with a concentration in Spanish at Emporia State University and taught Spanish at Gardner Edgerton High School. She loves spending time with friends and family, traveling to the lake, reading books, watching movies, listening to music in Spanish, and going on walks. Brooke plans to pursue a degree in school counseling.

Darchelle was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas, where she participated in many varsity sports, including cross country, track, and cheerleading. She ran track at Kansas State University, where she earned a bachelor’s in kinesiology, nutrition, and exercise science, along with a minor in business. Before coming to Baker, she worked as a high school special education and biology teacher and head cross country and track coach in Texas. At Baker she also serves as an assistant cross country and distance coach. She is pursuing a master’s in sports administration. In her free time, she loves to travel, hang out with friends, go to sporting events, exercise, and play with her pup.
