The Baker University Department of Music hosts Trombone Day to increase the awareness, education, and appreciation for the trombone through master classes, rehearsals, recitals, and a trombone choir concert featuring all the workshops’ participants.

Clinicians are Dr. Frank Perez, director of bands and trombone at Baker University and Conn-Selmer Clinician; Dr. John Benoit, trombone professor at Simpson College; and Bo Dingus, freelance trombonist and the Kansas City Bone Connection Trombone Quartet.

Meyer Music and Conn-Selmer will bring instruments for students to play and try out, as well as many books and supplies. The Baker Music Department invites middle school, high school and collegiate trombone students and community members to attend.
